On 29 April in Minsk, an awards ceremony was held for the winners of the White Square 9th International Advertising and Marketing Festival. The annual award council received more than 1000 applications, including "THE BASE" campaign by Adidas and the Louder communications agency.
The White Square Festival jury was made up of five groups of international specialists: 52 experts from all over Europe, winners of numerous industry awards, including more than 130 Cannes Lions.
1059 entries from 216 agencies were competing at the ninth "White Square" Award. The award nominations were divided into five categories: Creativity, Branding, Marketing, Digital, and Social Advertising.
adidas campaign "THE BASE Football" and integrated communication agency Louder were short listed and became the winners in «Image Company» category.
adidas THE BASE is a unique football space on the roof of one of the historic buildings in downtown Moscow, which was able to unite street players and became a hub for fans of the game last summer. The site was fully equipped for football matches, Euro 2016 broadcasts and fanzone parties. THE BASE Football campaign for adidas took street football to new heights: it gave 7,000 street football players, who live for the game, a chance to have a venue for training, matches, and communicating with each other, as well as master classes with professional footballers.
All in all, the ninth "White Square" Festival gathered participants from 28 European and CIS countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Georgia, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Greece, Croatia and others.
